This ancient variety produces long, thin, slightly hairy green fruit. They are harvested in large numbers and can be preserved if picked as soon as they have formed, or eaten as fully ripe cucumbers.

Sow in pots at a temperature of between 18 and 20°C, 6 weeks before planting.
