Wild Fred - Red Mid-season Tomato

Ref : P6187 - Solanum lycopersicum
Bag of 35 seeds

This compact variety offers an abundance of red fruit weighing 200-250g. It is the result of a cross between "Carbon" and "New Big Dwarf" carried out in 2006 by Bruce Bradshaw and named "Sleazy" at the time.

This variety has benefited from the "Cross Hemisphere Dwarf Project on Tomatoville", a collective effort to create dwarf but very tasty varieties.

in bucket

Sow in pots at a temperature of between 16 and 20°C, under a well-lit shelter, 5 weeks before planting. After the last frosts, transplant the whole clump to the ground at a minimum distance of 50 cm, burying the stem up to the first leaves.

Solanaceae need light and heat to produce. In cool climates, it's best to grow them under cover and, depending on the soil, water them regularly.
