This white-seeded variety produces cylindrical fruits 20 to 40 cm long. When young, they can be eaten like zucchini. The fibers of ripe, dried fruit act as a vegetable sponge.

Sow in pots, under light cover, at a minimum temperature of 20°C. Keep moist until emergence. When plants have 4 to 5 leaves, transplant into warm soil, 1 m apart in all directions.
