This fairly compact variety grows to no more than 1.2 m in height, with up to 5 ears of delicious orange-bronze seeds. They can be eaten fresh, in the milky stage, or fully ripe, in the form of flour.

This variety was developed by Alan Kapuler (Mushroom) in Oregon from three traditional varieties: "Tarahumara Sweet", "Guaymas Orange" and "Faro Chilean".
