Sow in pots, under light cover, 4 weeks before the last frost and cover with 1 cm of soil. Water lightly. For direct sowing, sow lightly in sufficiently warmed soil and thin to a minimum distance of 40 cm in all directions. To promote germination, soak seeds in water the day before sowing.
