This old, vigorous variety produces long-lasting bunches of 6 to 10 "beef-flesh" type fruits, pink with yellow shoulders, round and smooth, weighing 120 to 150 g and not very sensitive to bursting.

Sow in pots at a temperature of between 16 and 20°C, under a well-lit shelter, 5 weeks before planting. After the last frosts, transplant the whole clump into the ground at a minimum distance of 50 cm, burying the stem up to the first leaves. Water abundantly at the time of planting.

Solanaceae need light and heat to produce. In cool climates, it's best to grow them under cover and, depending on the soil, water them regularly.

This is the pink version of "Earliana", marketed in the USA from 1900. Also known as "Earliana Pink", it was listed in 1906 in the Johnson and Stokes catalog in Windermoor near Moorstown, New Jersey, in 1916 in the Livingston's Seed Annual catalog in Columbus, Ohio, and in 1927 in the Burrell's Seeds catalog in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
