Carefully prepare the area to be sown so that the soil is loose and finely crumbled on the surface. This will ensure even emergence of the different seeds. Mix the seeds well before broadcasting them directly into the soil, at a rate of 1 g per square metre. Rake the seeds into the soil and press down with a board or the back of a rake. Keep the soil moist until the seeds emerge. You can also sow this mixture in a window box or tub, in the same way.
