To obtain good seed emergence: prepare the area to be sown very carefully, so that the soil is loose and finely crumbled on the surface. Mix the seeds well before sowing them lightly, directly in place, at a rate of 4 g per square metre. Rake to bury the seeds and press the seedbed down with a board or the back of a rake. Keep the soil moist until the seeds emerge. Most of the flowers in this mix are wild perennials, which take a long time to establish. They can take 2 to 3 years to bloom.
