Chadwicks Rodan - To cut Lettuce

Ref : P4147 - Lactuca sativa
Bag of 1 gram

This ancient variety forms a loose rosette of slender, light-green leaves with bronze tips. They have a crisp, tender texture and a mild, slightly sweet flavor.

The peripheral leaves are cut off, one by one, as needed. New leaves develop after successive harvests.

Sow in pots or slabs at a temperature of 10-18°C, one month before planting. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, press lightly and water. Once the plants have 4 leaves, prick out. Alternatively, sow lightly, directly into the ground, every 15 days for better staggered harvests, then thin out. This type of sowing produces hardier plants, less susceptible to bolting.
