"Five years ago I set up my farm, "À la belle étoile", to make a childhood dream come true. In addition to growing seeds, I live with a lot of animals who help me in various ways with production.

I discovered the seed business through a wonderful encounter with Greg G. and very quickly became passionate about it. What I really like about this activity, apart from the fact that you get to the end of the cycle, is the idea of contributing to food self-sufficiency, and the protection of seeds and farmers.

Growing crops often makes me think of a ship at sea, pulling on ropes, turning cranks, hoisting sails... you have to face up to the elements and do everything you can to bring your crops safely to port.

My favorite variety: the Moschata "Carat" squash. It's excellent, productive and beautiful, but it's not sufficiently well known, even though it can easily rival the biggest names.

I'd like to conclude with an African proverb: "You can't plough, sow, harvest and eat on the same day.
