Adrien D. and Perinne T.

"On a small 8-hectare farm in a protected environment, we cultivate around 5,000 m² of vegetables and flowers solely for seed harvesting. The rest is natural meadows for our 4 donkeys, who work with us to maintain the crops on a daily basis! We are organic and are developing Biodynamics. In this way, the place of every living being is respected, whether wild or cultivated, animal or vegetable, visible or invisible. Because the balance of the farm, and therefore of our crops and harvests, depends on the harmony of the Life present on it."

Adrien: "A Kokopelli magazine lying around in one of my roommates, a job in a plant biotechnology laboratory that seemed meaningless to me, interest in the autonomy of peasant farmers, and a desire to learn more about the world of plants. All these factors combined to awaken in me the obvious : my desire to work with plants on a daily basis. For 7 years, I produced a variety of reproducible vegetables, sold directly, as well as eggs."

Perrine: "Sensitive to environmental and human issues from an early age, I wanted my career path to be socially useful. That's one of the reasons why I initially opted for research in Ecology and Agronomy. But I didn't find myself at all at home in the way nature and agriculture were viewed by the centers where I worked. I had a professional break and was originally from Paris, so I felt the need to reconnect with what was real and concrete... I first came face to face with rural life, and growing vegetables enabled me to experience, on a daily basis, the deep links between human beings and Nature. Then seed production satisfied my need to search for meaning and the Sacred. Indeed, following a plant from seed to seed, observing its transformation and the messages it carries within is precious food for the spirit. The political aspect around the seed issue also responded to my childhood preoccupations."

"In 2020, we took the plunge, and decided to devote ourselves to what's closest to our hearts: seeds. No two years are alike, and this requires a strong capacity to adapt. Even if we are never safe from a major climatic hazard (hail, storm, drought, flood...), which makes farming a difficult profession, the magic of the exponential multiplication of plants, through their seeds, is simply exceptional and gratifying!

Our favorite varieties : Basil "Sacré/Tulsi Tempérée" for its bushy appearance, long flowering period, multitude of pollinating insects, fragrance and medicinal use.dicinal use, and Officinal Marigold for its meticulous, regular harvests, the plant's sense of freshness and the calm that emanates from its cultivation."

A topical final word: "Anything you can do or dream of doing, you can undertake. Boldness contains genius, power and magic. Start now" Goethe.
