This hardy perennial produces pretty umbels of 4-petaled yellow flowers from May to October. It contains numerous toxic alkaloids with repellent properties, and is traditionally used to treat warts.
Sow directly in place, broadcast or in rows, covering the seeds very lightly. Keep the soil moist. Thin to 30 cm in all directions, then sow in autumn for early spring flowering.
