Artemisia annua - Leaves and flowering tops for herbal teas

Ref : TIS_001

Artemisia annua herbal tea should be available again in autumn 2022.

This sachet contains 40 grams of crushed leaves and flowering tops ofArtemisia annua, ideal for making herbal teas. They are grown, harvested and dried in Ariège by SCEA Cotylédon (71%) and its partner in Balaguer, Spain (29%). Artemisia annua is a powerful bioaccumulator. For this reason, it has been grown on chemical-free land for many years. Sowing, harvesting and bagging were carried out by hand.

This sachet is also suitable for the preparation of oily, alcoholic or glycerol macerates, as well as for use in poultices.

Plant description :

Artemisia annua is a hairless plant native to China and naturalized in Europe. It has highly branched stems ranging from 30 to 100 cm, and can reach over 3 m in cultivation.

Properties and virtues :

It has many properties, both in the treatment of serious infectious diseases and for everyday use: repellent, digestive, healing, antipyretic, anticancer, antifungal, antispasmodic, diuretic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiparasitic and abortive.

Making herbal tea :

To make an infusion, use
5 grams per liter, infused for 5 to 15 minutes.
. Naturally, the dosage should be determined according to the severity of the pathology and the age of the person concerned. You need to test, experiment, be patient and listen carefully.

Artemisia annua was the featured plant in the 2019 edition of the "Cultivate Us! For the liberation of medicinal plants" campaign.

Precautions:
