Tétragone Tétragone Cornue
Tetragonal

Tetragonia tetragonoïdes - Tetragonal

Ref : P8401 - Tetragonia tetragonioides
Bag of 3 grams

This ancient species produces fleshy, triangular, dark-green, almost fat leaves. They can be used both raw and cooked, in the same way as spinach, whose flavor they recall.

Tetragonia is an excellent ally for slimming diets, as it is rich in water and fiber, and low in calories. Like spinach, it also promotes intestinal transit and detoxification. Rich in vitamins C, B1, B2, PP and minerals, it is less concentrated in oxalic acid than spinach, making it suitable for rheumatism sufferers.

Sow in pots or directly in the ground when the soil has warmed up, in bunches of 2 to 3 seeds. Transplant with the rootball or thin out, keeping the most vigorous plant at 70 cm in all directions.
