This variety, with its cut and wispy vegetation, has large flowers with piped petals, evoking the shape of a seashell. White, pale pink and red, they bloom all summer long.

 

Cosmos are a favorite with birds. The flowers can be left to dry in autumn, so they can feed on the seeds.
