Green Zebra Tomato plants

Ref : P7309P

Plants of this vigorous, high-yielding variety will produce numerous small, round fruits weighing around 90 g, green with light yellow-green streaks. The emerald-green flesh is both sweet and tangy.

How to grow the Green Zebra Tomato?

Once the last frosts have passed, from mid-May onwards, the plants can be transplanted to the vegetable garden.

Growing tips

For transplanting, choose fertile, well-drained soil in full sun, with a recommended distance of 50 cm between each plant. Successful planting depends on abundant watering at the time of planting.

To acclimatize tomatoes to outdoor conditions, take them outside during the day 4 to 7 days before planting in the garden or in pots.

For more information, consult our guide to transplanting tomato plants.

How to avoid tomato diseases?

To protect plants against fungal diseases, particularly downy mildew, we recommend not over-watering and not wetting leaves or flowers. Mulching tomato plants is one way of keeping the soil moist. Solanaceae need light and warmth for their production. In cool areas, they are best grown under cover, with regular watering adapted to the soil's characteristics.

When and how to harvest Green Zebra Tomatoes?

This mid-season variety is harvested from June to October. Pick the fruit with a spinet when ripe.
