This variety produces a large number of very tasty, drum-shaped fruits weighing from 1 to 2.5 kg, like those of the "Buttercup" squash. They can be eaten before they are fully ripe and have a very long shelf life.

Introduced by the University of Wisconsin in the United States, it was obtained through a breeding process initiated by Prof. James G.
