This variety produces heart-shaped fruits with 3 or 4 slightly pointed lobes, with a bright golden-yellow color. The flesh is very thick, around 10 mm, firm and crunchy.

Sow in pots or in trays, at a temperature of between 20 and 25°C, under a well-lit shelter, 8 to 10 weeks before planting. Transplant the whole clump into the ground, after the last frosts, at a distance of 30 or 60 cm in all directions, depending on the variety, burying the stem up to the first leaves. Water abundantly at the time of planting.

This ancient variety from Italy is mentioned in 1915 in the "Market Bulletin" of the city of Cuneo. It was brought to the USA in 2012 by Jere on a trip to Italy. It is also known as "Carré de Cuneo".
